Clinical advisory board
The TRANSLATE project will establish a clinical advisory board. The role of this board is to provide the TRANSLATE project with external expertise but will also contribute with perspectives and experience from stakeholders in TRANSLATE.
Clinical partners from the TRANSLATE project group will participate in the advisory board meetings. Genetic advice will be provided by external genetic experts.
The board will discuss clinical aspects, questions from TRANSLATE partners, and challenges encountered. It is expected that the board will convene yearly as well as needed and will exist for the duration of the TRANSLATE project.
Genetic Experts
The TRANSLATE project will have a group of genetic experts that will be consulted to provide insight in relation to the genetic aspects of the project. This includes issues related to the detection of variations, selection and classification of variant, analysis of variants, and interpretations of variants.
These advisors will ensure that the genetic aspects of the project is in consensus with genetic practice both nationally and internationally. Experts will also be drawn upon ad hoc when questions arise and will advise throughout the project.
The genetic experts will include national and international clinical geneticists and disease-specific genetic experts.
